Day 1
  • Arrive at Wayanad. Wayanad is a forest reserve in North Kerala which is evergreen throughout the year and is just the right place to relax and rejuvenate oneself. Banasurasagar Dam which is 18 kms away can be visited in the evening.

Day 2
  • Tourists can sightsee in and around Wayanad among which are Edakkal Caves, Pookode Lake for Boating, Soochipara Waterfalls and the Ancient Jain Temple.

Day 3
  • Move on to Athirampally Falls, 230 kms away. The Athirapally Falls come enroute to Munnar. These falls are perennial and located on the Chalakudy River near the Sholayar ranges in Thrissur. Explore the Athirapally Falls in the evening. Move ahead to Munnar for ovenight stay

Day 4
  • Move on to Munnar, 140 kms away. Tourists can visit Elephant Camp at Kodanad enroute. Munnar is a well-known hill station of Kerala, 5000+ ft above sea level. Visitors would have a feel of a misty & cool climate and get a relaxed stay between tea plantations. Local market tour for shopping in the evening and Mattupetty Dam for boating could be planned.

Day 5
  • Tourists could visit the Kannan Devan Tea Museum and Attukal Waterfalls (8 kms from Munnar). Another option is to plan a trip to Marayoor (Sandalwood Forests - 40 kms) and Top Station (Highest view point in the area - 40 kms). Visiting the Punarjani Traditional Village for evening shows of Kalaripattu (Martial art form) and Kathakali dance is a good option.

Day 6
  • Move on to Thekkady, 110 kms away. Thekkady, a forest reserve on the banks of the Periyar river, is known for its Wildlife Sanctuary and Spice Plantation area. Visit to Elephant Junction for elephant ride and Periyar boat cruise could be done. The climate is perfect for a refreshing stay or a trek into the jungle.

Day 7
  • Tourists could take a half day trek into the Periyar forest reserve or plan a full day programme involving trekking and Bamboo Rafting. A full day Eco tour to Gavi (42 kms from Thekkady) could be another option involving Jeep Safari, trek, bamboo rafting etc. (requires prior booking).

Day 8
  • Move on to Kumarakom, 120 kms away. Kumarakom offers luxury hotels and well-known for its backwaters. Tourists could visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctaury for Boating and Bird watching or simply relax at the serene backwaters.

Day 9
  • Move on further to Alleppey Boat Jetty, 35 kms away (to reach before 12 noon).Alleppey gives Kerala the name "Venice of the East". Houseboat Cruise would get tourists to experience the serene backwaters. Overnight stay in the houseboat. Depart to Cochin, 75 kms away, after disembarking at the jetty at 10 a.m., for onward journey on Day-10.

  • Package includes Arrival assistance, Airport/railway station transfers, mid segment hotel/home stay accommodation on CP(Complimentary Breakfast), transportation in deluxe AC car, sight seeing & Driver’s expense, Parking, Toll
  • Entry tickets for parks, rides, Guide & entry fee during sightseeing are not included in the above package and they are to be obtained by the guest at the time of entry.
  • Eravikulam National Park in Munnar will be closed during the month of February & March every year.
  • All museums are closed on Mondays
  • All sightseeing subject to weather and political condition in the destination
  • Tour Operator is not responsible for compensating any loss or additional cost incurred by guest while taking the tour.
  • Child of age 5 and above will be chargeable. Child above 12 will be considered an adult.
  • Rates may hike up to 20% during October - December.
  • Decemebr 24th and 31st night Gala Dinner at respective hotels are compulsory and will be charged directly if not booked through us.
  • All Local Taxes. Govt. Service Tax Extra as applicable.
  • All the disputes are subject to Ernakulam Jurisdiction only
HOUSEBOAT DETAILS [if booked]
  • Houseboat is provided with all meals (Lunch,Dinner, Breakfast, Tea / Coffee / Snacks)
  • Houseboat Check in time is 1200 pm and check out time is 9 am early check out is possible on request.
  • Air Conditioner with the Deluxe Houseboat will work from 9 PM to 6 AM. Full time A/C is available on Luxury Houseboat.
  • Houseboat will be anchored one hour at the time of Lunch.
  • Houseboat will be stationed from 05.30 PM to 08.00 AM in the bank of backwater; hence mosquito and water borne insects are related hitches. It is sensible to bring repellent for the same.
  • Typical Kerala Cuisine will be provided with the Houseboat. Choice of food with the Houseboat is very limited. we request you to inform the preference of food [ veg / non-veg] at the time of booking.
  • The Houseboat room and bath room size are small compared to hotel rooms.
  • Houseboat is meant for exploring the scenic beauty of backwater hence TV Channels will not be available with many Houseboats.
  • Up to 4 bedroom deluxe house boats are widley available. If your booking is for more than 4 bedrooms, minimun 2 boats will be booked.
  • 70% refund if cancelled within 7 days after booking prior to departure.
  • 50% refund if cancelled within 5 days prior to departure.
